Let's move on to the very second chapter!

Rudransh was finally feeling a bit relaxed after smoking for a few minutes but he didn't wish to go to the office now but he also knew work cannot wait.
He started the car, driving off to the office thinking about how he would say the things he planned to Siya.
It was going to be a disaster. But, as his girlfriend she has the right to know. And he must tell her before things go too far.
This thought lingered somewhere in his mind making him re-think his decision and whatever happened back at the mansion made him doubt what he was going to do.
His words echoed - "kya fark padta hai jab mai pasand kar chuka hun"
(Why does it matter when I've already liked her)
He shouldn't have said that but he couldn't let himself get belittled by Ranveer. He clicked his tongue I'm annoyance. He just couldn't leave Siya after whatever he had said back at the mansion.
He thought as he finally pushed this matter off his mind. He was determined to let this last only a few more days. He cannot continue a relationship where there is no future, no guarantee.
Because even if Siya is ready to spend her life with him, he isn't. He was just someone who supported her during her lowest point in life.
He even tried convincing himself that he loves her. But, he didn't feel things for her. His heart wouldn't flutter, wouldn't skip a beat or anything.
He never felt anything romantic. He just felt pity. Pity for her.
He knew it was wrong to let her in his life, accept her proposal, be her boyfriend when all he felt was pity for her, not love.
But, he just couldn't bring himself to let an innocent person die 3 years ago because of something that someone else did.

He applied brakes once he reached the office.
Reaching his cabin, he opened the door, walking in. His shoulders were tight, and steps were measured. He was about to see Siya again.
But, a slight frown appeared on his face when he saw she wasn't there. But, it disappeared before it could fully form.
Siya did this often, taking time off her work after finish everything real quick.
She wouldn't leave her work unfinished.
Instead, she'd finish it fast then take a break before taking up any other work. It was like she'd go crazy without brake.
And he just walked to his lavish, luxurious chair sitting down as he switched on his laptop, working.
He never scolded Siya for doing things like that because whatever she did, she completed the work.
And that's what any boss would want.

Aarohi was in her bedroom reading a novel, a dark romance book. Cuz why not?
Her cheeks flushed red reading the novel. She looked innocent, oh yes she was innocent. But, a little too muck into dark romance. And ofc, a phd in understanding adult jokes.
Her phone rang pulling her out of the novel as her lower lip jutted out in a little pout
It was her friend, Aashi. She grumbled before picking it up. It was a video call.
Aashi immediately spoke, "tere ghar aa rhi hun, ready reh. Ghumne chalenge vaise bhi Sunday hai."
(I'm coming to your home, be ready. We'll roam around, it's Sunday)
Aarohi, "free toh hun mai par novel padh rhi thi". Aashi glared at her replying, "Aana toh padega madam, bullet le kar aa rahi hun"
(I'm free but I was reading a novel)
(You'll have to come, madam, I'm bringing my bullet)
Aarohi's eyes filled up with excitement as she said, "sachhi? Achha mai ready ho rahi hun, fatafat aaja
(Really? Okkk!! I'm gonna go get ready, come fast!)
Aashi giggled, hanging up. As, Aarohi rushed to get ready. Aarohi always loved bike rides. Be it a bullet, or any other bike.
And in a few minutes, a bullet honked outside her door as she rushed downstairs happily, opening the door.
She waved at Aashi before she locked the door, almost running to her. Aashi laughed patting the seat behind her.
Aarohi was wearing a soft white and blue cotton muted kurta, perfect for spending time outside. While Aashi was wearing a light pink cotton kurta.

It's not like they don't wear western. But the weather nowadays was sometimes hot and sometimes extremely cold.
Ofc, it's their choice to dress however they want.
The bike roared to life as Aashi pulled off, but one thing they forgot in excitement was helmet.
And, this thought still didn't click in their mind.
(Author : mere saath bhi hota hai, fir fine le lete hain police
And, the ride was smooth, soft as Aashi was driving on a high speed. Aarohi enjoyed the wind brushing against her bare face, as her hair moved with the air in completely sync. Some strands even sticking to her face. She was humming softly as her eyes fell on the speedometer. Her eyes widened, how come she didn't notice the speed before.

Aarohi huffed as suddenly Aashi said, "signal aa raha hai. Todte hain chal"
(It's a signal, let's break it)
Aarohi's eyes widened and then she realized they both weren't wearing helmets. She said, "pagal ladki, humne helmet bhi nahi pehna hai"
(Crazy woman, we haven't worn helmet either)
Aashi smirked mischievously replying, "dekh tu tension mat leh, abhi abhi red hua hai, tod ke bhi nikal jayenge signal toh speed hai humari police nahi pakdenge"
(Dont worry, just now it's been red signal, even if we break and go, the police wouldn't be able to catch us at this speed)
Aarohi denied again and again as Aashi huffed, "what's life without a little risk?"
She tried convincing Aarohi, which worked in an instant. She fell in a deep thought. She has never done anything like this before. She thought, being mischievous.

Aarohi said, "chal thik hai par just ek baar" Aashi nodded immediately as they reached closer, the cars and bikes were stopping, and boom!
(Okay but just this once)
Aashi broke the signal, and moved the bike forward that's when her eyes widened. The police had immediately place the "NO ENTRY" board. Aarohi's eyes widened.
They are doomed now. No helmet and broke signal.
The police immediately stopped them. Aashi was a little careful, because she predicted something like this would happen. As the police said, "Madam utariye"
(Madam, get down)
Aarohi glared at Aashi getting down as Aashi scratched her head in frustration.
The police said, "Madam aapne toh helmet nahi liya upar se signal toda" Aarohi elbowed Aashi glaring at her.
(Madam, you both haven't work helmet and on top of that broke the signal)
Aashi said, "n-nahi nahi woh hum helmet kharide hi jaa rahe the"
The police man said, "achha madam, hume toh nahi lag rha hai aur aapne signal todte waqt kya socha?"
(No, no we were about to go and buy helmet)
(Yes, madam but we dont think so. And why did you think during breaking the signal)
The elderly man's voice was gentle and scolding not harsh.
And in the first row of cars and bikes, a black sleek car was standing, the person on the driving seat was speaking on a call with someone waiting for the signal to turn green.
It was Rudransh Singh Rathore.
Suddenly, he rolled down the window of the car as he heard someone say, "Aaj kal ki ladkiya bhi na.. helmet liya nahi hai aur signal tod diya"
(Today's girls are... They haven't even worn helmet and also broke the signal)

Rudransh put down the phone when done talking, as his lazy gaze traveled in front of him, as he waited for the signal to turn green.
He frowned slightly realizing the woman in the muted cotton white and blue kurta was her. The girl he met today on his way.
She wasn't aware of the dark pair eyes of eyes watching her too closely and intently, filled with dark amusement.
He could hear the scoldings of the policeman from here.
So, no helmet and on top of that breaking the signal? Too daring for yourself.
Her head was ducked down, but he could clearly see her glaring at the girl beside her, who was fumbling to get out of this mess.
She spoke, "h-haan haan hum toh helmet kharidne hi jaa rahe the"
(Yes, yes, we were about to go and buy helmet)
Haan, haan tum toh kharidne hi jaa rahi thi helmet, saaf saaf dikh rha hai.
(Yeah, I can see how much you were willing to go and buy helmet)
He leaned back chuckling darkly, as he watched the little banter between her and the policeman. The policeman said, "aapka fine lagega"
(You'll be fined)
He watched her hiss at the other girl muttering something under her breathe, he could read her lips.. She probably said, "aur bol what's life without a little risk"
(And say again what's life without a little risk)
His lips twitched as if suppressing a chuckle again.
Here, Aarohi said, "sir aap humari baat toh suniye" The policeman said, "madam hum aapko jaane dete agar aapne koi ek rule toda hota, you both have intentionally broken two rules"
(Sir, atleast listen to us)
(Madam, we would've let you go if you would've broken only one rule, but you both have intentionally broken two rules)

A rough chuckle left his lips.
Suddenly, the man's eyes fell on a black sleek car as he straightened immediately walking to it. He reached the window and said, "Sir, why are you waiting here?"
Rudransh's eyes travelled to the policeman and he replied in a low voice, "it's red signal"
The policeman said, "sir, you can move. This isn't for you-"
Rudransh interrupted, "Let those two girls go"
The policeman's eyes widened as he said, "s-sir, they broke two-"
But the policeman shut up as Rudransh's gaze flickered back to him again, he immediately nodded walking to Aarohi and Aashi.
Aarohi gasped as she said, "hawww aapne uss aadmi ko kya kaha, " This isn't for you" Kyun?"
(Hawww you told that man, "this isn't for you" Why?")
The policeman pinched the bridge of his nose as he said, "you both can go, no fine"
Aashi's eyes beamed immediately at that as she took her seat while Aarohi was still furious she said, "yeh aap aisa nahi kar sakte?!"
(You cannot do things like this)
Aashi pulled Aarohi with her pinching the bridge of her nose. A chuckle left Rudransh's lips.
Till, the bike pulled out Aarohi was furious as she said, "yeh na aap galat kar rahe ho mai aapki complaint kar dung-"
(You're doing this wrong, I'll file a complaint against you-)
Aarohi said, "arey tu ruk toh, inko btati hun mai"
(Wait a second, I'll tell him)
She said, "aur hn woh jo andar baithe hain unnhe kya lagta hai? Kahi ke president hain kya jo unke liye signal nahi hai-"
(And yes, the man who's sitting inside what does he think? Is he a president of somewhere that the signal isn't for him-)
Her words echoed, "mai aapko chhodungi nahi aap dekh lena-"
(I won't leave you, you'll see)
Aashi pulled her with herself on bike. Her voice finally disappeared as the bike moved further.
Rudransh just chuckled at her words. The look on the policeman's face was terrifying.
She was scolding Rudransh indirectly too, without knowing that he was the one who pulled her out of this.
But it's okay, for the first time.. He didn't mind someone being too fiesty in front of him.
And as the signal turned green, he drove away.
